Soudal UK has officially opened its brand-new 50,000 sq ft warehouse facility, marking a major milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion within the UK market. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on 27th February 2026, where members of the Soudal UK team and invited guests gathered to celebrate this significant investment in the company’s future.
The event was officiated by Councillor Debbie Bates, Mayor of North Warwickshire, who joined Michael Gamble, Managing Director of Soudal UK, to cut the ribbon and formally open the facility.
A Major Step for Soudal’s UK Growth
This new warehouse represents a substantial investment that reflects Soudal’s long-term commitment to the UK market. Located close to the company’s existing Tamworth operations in Wilnecote, the new site more than doubles current warehouse capacity and forms a key part of Soudal’s broader growth objectives.
Michael Gamble, commented: “The opening of our new Tamworth warehousing facility marks a significant step in our growth strategy for the UK market. This investment not only increases our operational capacity, but also underpins our commitment to supporting our distribution partners with greater stock availability and enhanced service reliability. The warehouse will operate simultaneously with our current operations in Wilnecote, dramatically increasing our warehouse capacity and facilitating our plans for future growth. The new premises will enable us to continue delivering exceptional levels of service to our valued customers as we expand.”

With over 20 years of presence in Tamworth, Soudal UK selected the new warehouse location to ensure seamless integration with existing operations. The expanded space will allow the company to carry a broader product range, respond more effectively to increasing customer demand, and optimise overall logistics.

30 years of Soudal UK
During the opening ceremony, we had the opportunity to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our UK subsidiary. Soudal UK first started in 1996, moving location and scaling-up operations multiple times over the last three decades. The opening of the new national distribution centre is an important step in Soudal's journey, forming part of our commitment to servicing valued distributors, as well as futureproofing operations for the years ahead.
