Self adhesive precompressed sealing tape

Soudaband PRO SFD is a multifunctional pre-compressed joint sealing tape, that meets the new DIN 18542:2020 class BG1 requirements. This premium joint sealing tape was specially developed for sealing windows with a frame depth of up to 45 mm or for sealing windows with a base or window sill profile. Soudaband PRO SFD combines a driving rain resistance of up to 750 Pa with good thermal and acoustic insulation properties and ensures a long-lasting high-quality seal around exterior joinery.

Instructions

  • Select the required tape length and width suitable for the dimensions of the joint width and joint depth. The joint edges should be parallel and free of dirt and remains of cement. When unwinding Soudaband PRO SFD, allow for an extra 1 cm tape per running meter of joint. When installing, make sure that the printed side with the inside marking is along the inside of the window. Start at the bottom, in case of vertical joints. Fix the pre-compressed tape with the self-adhering side to one joint edge by means of a filling-knife. After applying, the pre-compressed tape will expand and press against the joint edges and fill uneven areas. For more information, consult the technical data sheet.
