Watertight cable ducts and pipe penetrations

The infiltration of water in basements can cause severe damage if it is not dealt with properly. One of the common sources of water infiltration is tube and cable penetrations that are not adequately sealed. High groundwater can exert considerable pressure, as a result of which conventional foam will soon be pressed or flushed out of the pipe.

Aquaswell is a polyurethane pipe and cable sealant that swells up in contact with water to create a water and gas-tight seal – up to 5 bar (DVGW VP-601). It has very good adhesion on concrete, most metals and PVC.
