Sealing of sanitary installations

Trying to install a new sink or a new tap  ? To get the water pipes smoothly together and to prevent leaks, it is best to get started with quality products.

Instructions

1. Clean the screw thread connections

Remove all loose pieces, dirt and dust from the screw thread connections.

2. Apply Sanifiber

First apply flax (Sanifiber) to the screw thread. Flax (also known as Hemp) provides, in combination with Raccord, a perfect watertight seal for all types of screw thread couplings.

3. Open and apply

Raccord Open the tube Raccord Then smear evenly with RACCORD and screw the relevant components together.

Tip:

  • this product is also perfectly suited for sealing gas and steam installations.
  • to be used with hemp for water and acrylic fibre (Gastape) for gas.
