Filling of holes and cracks in wood

A crack in the wood in your garden table? Or nail holes in a wall of your wooden shed? You can repair this quickly with mouldable wood.

Instructions

1. Clean and sand the seat or wooden wall

Remove all dirt and loose pieces of wood. Lightly sand the surface you want to repair. The mouldable wood can then adhere better.

2. Fill the crack or the holes

Apply a thin layer of Soudal Repair Express Wood. Use a spatula to do this. Do you want to repair a deep crack or a large hole? Apply the mouldable wood in different layers. Wait 30 minutes before you apply a following layer.

3. Sand lightly

Soudal Repair Express Wood is dry after 60 minutes. Sand lightly with fine sandpaper. Check that the mouldable wood has fully hardened before you start painting.

Tip:

  • You can also stain or varnish Repair Express Wood when the product has fully hardened. The following is also useful:
  • Remove residues of mouldable wood or clean your tools with acetone or Soudal Adhesive Cleaner 90A.
