Job Title: Graphic Marketing Executive

Reporting to Marketing Manager, Soudal (UK) Ltd 

Location: Office based role, must be commuting distance of the Soudal UK offices in Tamworth.

Role: You will be responsible for undertaking graphic design duties at Soudal UK, from packaging design to branding projects. Working with well established brands/sub-brands in the construction/DIY market, you will support the work of the marketing team, assisting in the delivery of marketing strategies and tasks. You will be responsible for creating printed marketing materials and online content for the UK subsidiary.

Applicants should have a degree level qualification in Graphic Design, or other related field (e.g. Marketing). Experience in a similar graphic design role is an advantage. Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Premier Pro) is necessary to apply for this role.

 

Job Role

  • Working under direction of the Marketing Manager to help deliver the company’s marketing objectives & goals.
  • Involvement in the entire process of visualizing and creating illustrations, logos and layouts.
  • Packaging design for a range of products and pack formats.
  • Creation of promotional materials; including brochures, flyers, blogs, marketing copy, etc.
  • Writing effective copy for online and offline communications.
  • Provide proof reading and fact checking assistance during the creation of mailers, website content and other promotional materials.
  • Assisting customers with imagery requests for their own websites.
  • Organising and actioning application photography and video shoots
  • Monitoring customer/distributor sites to ensure brand guidelines are appropriately followed.
  • Supporting the Area Sales Managers/Field Sales Support teams with marketing related requests.
  • General marketing responsibilities.

 

Design & Marketing Coordinator Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, or a related field or equivalent. Computer Proficiency, Adobe Creative Cloud, Research, Analysis, Written and Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Interpersonal Communication, Creativity, Teamwork, Organisation, Planning, Reliability and Punctuality.

 

Candidate will ideally:

  • Be educated to a degree level in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent.
  • Have a good level of experience working in a graphic design or similar hybrid marketing-design role.
  • Have enthusiasm and interest in marketing, and a desire to develop skills further in marketing.
  • Have experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Be IT literate - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Have experience of sending out email marketing communications.
  • Have strong written communication skills for copywriting tasks.
  • Have excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbally and written.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently on on-going projects.
  • Understand that occasionally the role will require working outside of standard UK office days and hours.
  • Have drive, motivation and excellent attention to detail.
  • A UK driving license
