Flashing tape

Flashing is a means of protection at weak points vulnerable to allowing water to enter the dwelling. Sealing around chimneys, air vents, skylights, window sills and sliding doors is of high importance to ensure full weather-tightness. Soudal has developed Butyband, a ready to use elastoplastic flashing and sealing tape. The butyl rubber based self-adhesive tape provides excellent adhesion to many substrates, ensuring a fully waterproof flashing alternative for universal sealing and repairs. Available in both lead and aluminium versions, replicating the appearance of traditional metal flashings.
