Soudal PVC Adhesive is specially developed for quick bonding of rigid PVC materials. It is often used to bond pipework and drainage pipes together in sanitary and sewer systems. Gutters and other hard PVC products can also be bonded with Soudal PVC Adhesive. Following the quick and easy steps below will ensure a super strong and long lasting watertight joint.

Soudal PVC Degreaser is an effective cleaning product for degreasing and preparing hard PVC materials ready for bonding. It improves the overall bond strength and longevity of connections. Together these two products form an effective combination for bonding pressurised pipes and outlets.

PVC glue applications

It is important to choose the right PVC adhesive for the specific application. There are different types of PVC adhesives in the market, each suitable for different conditions and materials. Soudal PVC adhesive is suitable for pipes under pressure up to Max. 16 Bar, with excellent resistance to hot (drainage) and cold water.

  • Pipes and fittings: For watertight connection of hard PVC fittings and pipes, such as elbows, tees and couplings.
  • Gutters: PVC adhesive is used when joining PVC gutter sections to make a leak-proof seal.

How to glue PVC pipes

Here is an instructional video demonstrating the best way to use PVC Glue. It is important that the glue is applied properly in order to prevent leaks following installation. We provide some handy tips to help achieve the best possible bond. For example, never twist/rotate pipes when joining together to ensure optimum watertight-ness. You must wait at least 6 hours before putting the pipes into use.
