Self-adhesive tape offers a cost effective means of sealing lids onto virtually all shapes of containers made from tin plate, plastic, glass or carton board. A wide variety of tape types are available depending upon the container to be taped and why. These include PVC, PE, PP, Cloth etc., either plain or printed. From Berning of Germany we offer both semi and fully automatic machines according to the line speed required.
The machines can be supplied as stand alone or combined with ancillary devices to:-
- Infeed empty containers
- Fill
- Insert (for example a cover pad)
- Feed and press on a lid
- Buffer and/or collate
thus creating a fully automatic packaging line.
Examples of different closure styles which include "easy open" features to assist the removal of tape and/or give evidence of tampering.
